Juggling a business alongside mum duties is a modern-day parenting challenge. Add to that five children, two of whom are home educated and you have a glimpse into my busy but very blessed life! With the children happy and an amazing, creative, fulfilling job I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Having worked as a qualified primary teacher and a seamstress for Patchwork Castle, I really love teaching both children and adults to sew. The process of sewing is slow and thoughtful, it relaxes me and gives me a creative output that I value so much!
All our workshops are near the beautiful North Yorkshire Coast, often in the Methodist Church Hall in Burniston which is so well lit and comfortable to use!
